Downtown as an interpreted digital twin — three rivers, real streets, hero landmarks.
Phase 1 — the recognition lab. The street grid, the three rivers and their confluence, the bridges, every block, and the parks are downtown Fort Wayne's real shapes, converted from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Eight landmarks are hand-built hero anchors: the courthouse dome, the Embassy marquee, Lincoln Bank Tower, the I&M Power Center, the cathedral spires, Parkview Field, the Wells Street truss, and the MLK Memorial Bridge. Interpreted, not 1:1: no doors lead anywhere yet, there is no shared presence, and districts and interiors are later phases. The win condition: if you know this city, it should feel like downtown from geometry alone.
